IBIZA SUNSETS WEEKEND
The sounds of Ibiza’s shores ring out at Heythrop Park

16th August 2024

Our hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds was transformed over the second weekend in August as guests donned their dancing shoes for three days of dance floor fillers, DJ sets and epic performances. The sun shone and the atmosphere was electric as classic Ibiza anthems and acoustic musicians formed the backdrop of themed activities and shows. Here’s our official round up of what was a truly memorable weekend.

Friday: Sunset memories on stage

A saxophone reception greeted guests upon arrival, and as the sun set over the terrace, a Cafe Mambo inspired DJ set offered a taste of the White Isle. The evening entertainment included an immersive experience – Sunset Memories on Stage – that brought together the best of Ibiza’s nightlife, blending talented singers, dancers and specialty acts into a thrilling theatre-style show. World-class vocalist and saxophone virtuoso Daniella Grace Williams ignited the stage and the dynamic sister duo, Khalysis, were the ultimate party starters, infusing new life into beloved songs.

Saturday: Ibiza in Symphony

The exciting itinerary of daytime activities consisted of a silent disco and an Ibiza-inspired arty party with Kelly Herrick, where guests grooved to Ibiza tunes as they painted a picture-perfect sunset. Headlining Saturday night was the epic 16-piece orchestra, Ibiza in Symphony, bringing the greatest Ibiza hits to life with their mix of classical musicians, singers and DJs. Classics from Fatboy Slim, Robert Miles, Darude, Faithless and many more kept the audience on their toes (and up into the early hours!).

Sunday: Star-studded DJ sets

Sunday kicked off with an afternoon Q&A with both Dave Pearce and Vernon Kay ahead of their electrifying evening sets full of dance floor bangers. One of the world’s most prestigious string ensembles, String Infusion, wowed with their harmonious blend of classical expertise and contemporary flare. The legendary Dave Pearce started off the night with his signature beats, followed by renowned broadcaster Vernon Kay and his live mix of exhilarating tunes for all the dance floor devotees.

Heythrop Park played host to an epic weekend full of chilled sunset sounds, dancefloor anthems and electric performances that transported our guests and team to the Balearics.
