Bodelwyddan is a magnificent castle bursting with history and stunning architectural design features. With imposing stone walls, ornate turrets and sprawling grounds, there are over 200 individual bedrooms waiting to welcome you. From Royale rooms with Rapunzel-esque turrets looking over the Clwydian Range, to Garden lodges set around the peaceful grounds and ponds. Our commitment to your comfort ensures every room is imbued with a cosy ambience, guaranteeing a restful night’s sleep. Complimentary amenities include Wi-Fi, plush towels, a television, hairdryer, comfortable seating and reading lights, and tea and coffee facilities.

Llewelyn Hall 

  • 20 Standard and 33 Signature rooms over two floors located a short distance to the main facilities and leisure complex.
  • 4 single rooms (2 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor)
  • Lift and stair access to the first floor
  • Private patios set amongst the lush greenery, centred around the French boules pit or east side views of the grand Bodelwyddan Estate and Clwydian Hills which are available in selected rooms

Williams Village 

  • 4 Standard rooms, 10 Garden view rooms and 7 Royale rooms located a short distance outside of the main facilities and leisure complex. There is 1 single room on the ground floor
  • No lift access to any of the rooms
  • Rooms compromised of the original Victorian folly and beams arranged in and around a courtyard with some overlooking the East Lawn and across to the Clwydian range 
  • Dedicated parking for selected rooms

 

Hens Roost

  • 7 Signature rooms, 1 Royale room located a short walk to the main facilities and leisure complex
  • No lift access to any of the rooms

Discover a colourful new deli counter featuring beetroot hummus, smoked trout and marinated vegetables to name just a few. Starters and desserts have been upgraded too and fun is most definitely on the menu - from bloody mary crumpets to tea and biscuit pudding. And if you're looking for something extra special, every night you'll find something new on the chef's specials menu, giving you even more to choose from.

  • Exit the M6 at junction 19a and follow the M56 to Chester/North Wales

  • Bodelwyddan Castle Hotel is directly off Junction 25 of the A55. Opposite the Marble Church
  • At the end of the slip road go straight across the roundabout up Engine Hill. The entrance to the hotel is approximately 150 yards up on the left
