About Lisa Jane Kelsey
Lisa Jane Kelsey is a multi-talented performer with a background in performing arts, contemporary dance, and acting. Her career has seen her tour in various theatrical productions and take on numerous roles, including performances in London's West End at The Dominion and Her Majesty’s Theatre.
Lisa has toured UK theatres in acclaimed productions such as Mad About the Musicals, West End Musicals in Concert, Twist and Shout, and The Laughter Show with The Grumbleweeds, where she starred as lead soprano. She also portrayed Evelyn, a young housewife, in the brand-new musical Songs for Victory, which paid tribute to the songs of the Second World War and celebrated the life of Vera Lynn. This production led to an invitation to perform at the prestigious West End Heroes concert at The Dominion Theatre, raising £100,000 for Help for Heroes and sharing the stage with casts from Evita, Miss Saigon, and Les Misérables.
Lisa has toured with Showcase Productions as the principal vocalist, appearing in shows such as Musical Magic (with Paul Daniels), Swinging Sixties (with Jess Conrad), Beyond the Dream, and Viva Broadway (co-starring Darren Day). The latter show toured the UK and had successful summer seasons at Bournemouth Pier.
Her panto roles include Princess Amelia in Jack and the Beanstalk, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Jill in Mother Goose, and the sassy wicked fairy Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty. More recently, she played the Princess in Jack and the Beanstalk at Stockport Plaza.
Lisa’s career has also taken her around the world, performing in 5-star holiday resorts and on luxury cruise ships with her Classical Crossover show Sounds of a Soprano. She is a regular performer at Warner Leisure Hotels and has a role in Some Enchanted Evening with the 26-piece English Musical Theatre Orchestra.
