About Martin Rees
Martin grew up in Weymouth, Dorset and was hooked on magic from the age of 12. In 2015 he started working with the children's charity, Spread a Smile, providing entertainment as therapy for children in hospital.
Inspired by this work, Martin decided to raise money and awareness for the charity in a quirky way, breaking 6 official records titles, including most magic performed in a wind tunnel, most magic performed under water and most magic performed on a skydive.
His latest project, Magic in Space, is even more ambitious, as he aims to escape from a straitjacket suspended at 10,000ft and set a new record at the edge of our atmosphere by 2028.
